Rebecca Grossfeld works as a Part-Time Exercise Specialist at Structure House, a facility that helps residents develop a new relationship with food and teaches them how to practice healthy nutrition and exercise. As an Exercise Specialist at Structure House, Rebecca shares her unique knowledge of creative movement and body awareness. She teaches GYROKINESIS®, Pilates, dance, water exercise, and additional exercise classes. She also provides individual personal training sessions for participants. Rebecca earned a BA in Dance for Choreography and Performance from Hampshire College in Amherst , Massachusetts . Her certifications include GYROKINESIS® and Pilates, and Group Fitness/Personal Training through New York 's East Coast Instructor Training School .

Master Class -- Modern (w/ African accents)

I just wanted to update you on an upcoming masterclass in the KPIC World Prayer Center:
Saturday, Feb 17; 9am-10am -- Modern (w/ African flavors)
Level: Beginning/Advanced Beginning
Instructor: Ronya-Lee Anderson
Ronya-Lee Anderson is in her last year as a Master’s of Divinity student at Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina. She also holds a B.A. in Dance and one in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland at College Park. She currently serves as Director of Dance Arts at Monument of Faith Church of God and Prophecy, where Bishop Clarence Laney is pastor. Ronya-Lee is also Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Dancing by the Power Ministries, a non-profit organization that seeks to transform the lives of young people through performing arts ministry, namely dance. She has taught, studied and engaged in sacred dance for the past 12 years, and travels throughout the United States leading workshops on sacred dance, teaching on both the physical and spiritual levels. In the summer of 2006 she was a guest artist with Dance for All youth company in Capetown, South Africa. She is currently a member of the Chuck Davis African American Dance Ensemble, which tours both nationally and internationally performing African dance works. Additionally, Ronya-Lee is a member of Too Near the Edge, a performing arts company, in which she recently toured in “Night of Renewal,” dancing, singing and acting. She is also is a founding member of a brand new dance ministry company in the NC Triangle area. Ronya-Lee's teaching experience includes modern, tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop and she currently teaches children’s classes at Ninth Street Dance studio and Barriskill Dance Theater in the Durham, NC area.
